REVIEW

We really enjoyed this book it was amazing! I had to steal it from Kelsey and then bug her till she read it but that's okay, because she finally did and we both love it. :)It had a lot of action, and intense parts in the book. The whole time I was reading it I was thinking, "Holy Crap I wish I was as cool and kick butt as Katniss." I would never be able to do what she does in this book (I REALLY hate outdoors, its because of the bugs.) And we especially love Peeta!!!!! He is our fav and we totally love him <3

So, I'm a shopaholic. I buy a lot of books and read them but Elyse is always much faster at finishing books than I am. One day I was on Stephenie Meyer's website and she mentioned that The Hunger Games was a really great book. I went out and bought it but kept reading other books. I am Elyse's Library so she borrowed the book and told me I had to read it. I still didn't read it until she kept bugging me to find out when the next book in the series was coming out. She kept bugging me and finally I thought, "Wow, this must be really good, I should read it". I did and I loved it! (Thanks for bugging me, Elyse.)
The Hunger Games is a smart, deep, and adventurous book. It is so surprising and touching and suspenseful that you cannot stop reading it. This is one of our favorite books and I will often go back and read my favorite passages over and over again. The sequel to The Hunger Games is called Catching Fire and the final book in the series, Mocking Jay, comes out August 24, 2010. I already pre-ordered my copy :) We highly recommend this book and promise you will love it!!!
(P.S. In case you don't speak text like me, the symbol at the end of Elyse's review is not, as I thought, a "less than alligator" and the number 3. It is, in fact, supposed to be a heart. I think I'm getting old.)

Later that same evening he comes home and finds Kendra there. But she is no longer the girl he saw at school because she had transformed into a beautiful witch. She then transformed him into his "truer self." or a beast.
The witch gives him two years to find true love, he must love her and she must love him. A year and a half later a girl named Lindy is forced to live with him. Will he find true love?

Review

I really like this book because it was written from the Beast's perspective. I enjoyed reading about how he was able to change his attitude towards life and the people around him. This book was cute and fun to read. As I read I found that I could make several connections with the Disney version of Beauty and the Beast. I would recommend this book to those of you who enjoy fairytale fiction, stories from a guys point of view, and people who turn their lives around.
